Pre-treatment

The secret of a beautiful floor is a perfect substrate. The substrate must comply with the following requirements: level, dry, clean, free from cracks, tension-proof and pressure-tight, and free from solvents. Prior to starting the work, it is important that the substrate is thoroughly checked. If you observe a deficiency in the substrate, do not hesitate to contact our Bostik floor technology advisors, who will be pleased to help you with their specialist advice. Moisture barriers are available for substrates that are sensitive to moisture. Bostik’s product range includes specialised pre-treatment products for a wide variety of substrates.
