Exclusive farmhouse radiates class because of professionally bonded natural stone

Decorating a farmhouse in authentic style, that was the question that interior designer Hein van de Voort from de Nieuwe Steentijd Someren got. In his striking design, he chose to use exclusive natural stone in almost every room. Tile bonding company Eddie Donker from Someren was chosen to take on this project. They deliberately chose the use of Ardal products. “The quality is high and the are easy to process. Furthermore Ardal offers excellent support and advice. Advisor Jan de Bresser has delivered some great ideas that benefitted the project at some critical moments. In such a specific project that expertise is of great importance.”

When you enter the farmhouse you get overwhelmed instantly. The tiles are bonded perfectly straight and flat and the subtle lines of the joints really stand out. In the floor of the shower there are no RVS drains, but the custom made drain is incorporated in the natural stone floor.

The craftsmanship of Eddie Donkers shows in every room, for example in the staircase. “We have placed the steps one by one with Ardal Natuursteenmortel (mortar to bond natural stone), an ideal product for this kind of application. In cooperation with the natural stone worker, I have places the risers, after which he has rounded off the steps in the front. These kinds of special challenges make my job the best there is. I have experienced some challenges in this farmhouse, but I was able to solve them all with the products of Ardal. I look back on this project feeling very satisfied.”
