Bostik Golf Open 2011
On 2 September 2011, it was time again for the 7th edition of the annual Bostik Golf Open! The event took place at the Burggolf Haverleij golf complex in Den Bosch. On this tropical day, Bostik was able to welcome 105 participants.
This year, Bostik used an entirely different approach; for the professional player, there was the familiar 18-hole Texas Scramble championship. Besides this, a distinction was made between beginners and players who had already plaed some clinics before and who now wanted to take their golfing a step further. A Masterclass was organised for the beginners and the more experienced players could participate in the Par 3 Masters.
At the end of the morning, the participants went on to the course for an exciting round of golf. Our guests golfed well and a large proportion of them were therefore awarded with prizes. After the prize-giving, there was the opportunity to play roulette for a good cause – Passion4Peace, who provide education and aid to orphaned children in the Atjeh region of Indonesia. Bostik donated €1500 to them. We concluded the sun-drenched day with a barbecue and a social evening on the terrace.
