Simson is an active and innovative player on the wall cladding panel market for more than 20 years. Simson has a leading rol in terms of knowledge, experience and quality. Simson FoamTape
For many wall cladding panel systems, Simson FoamTape is an important component. The FoamTape is double-sided, provided with a special Bostik adhesive. This product was especially developed as part of the wall cladding panel system: the Simson PanelTack system. The quality of Simson FoamTape is improved by now:

Density and adhesive strength

The improved FoamTape has a higher density and is a bit stiffer. In this way it is practically impossible to push the FoamTape too far. Also the adhesive strength of FoamTape was optimalised by using a special Bostik adhesive. Now, Bostik meets all the national and international requirements without any problems.

Colour
Previously, Simson FoamTape was grey, but soon it will go over to a black quality. Several investigations have shown that a black colour is preferred because of the invisible character of the colour. In some situations of glued façades, such as in corners, the tape can be visible sometimes. A black colour does not attract attention in these cases since this colour disappears in the behind lagging black constructions.

In short, Simson FoamTape is improved:
• More solid i.e. higher density, therefore it is more difficult to push;
• Higher adhesive strength by using a special Bostik adhesive;

• Less visible in the application, black Foamtape instead of grey FoamTape.
